ABOUT DR. JENN FELSTED-KNIGHT, CAREER & LEADERSHIP COACH
I know how it feels when your work isn't recognized the way it should be.
You do excellent work, quietly and consistently. Then you watch someone louder get the promotion, and you start to wonder if something is wrong with you. It's easy to feel stuck and alone in that, but I'm here to tell you nothing is wrong with you.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
It's easy to feel like your best work goes unnoticed.
If you're like me, you've probably dealt with some of these:
The pull to undersell
Listing tasks instead of impact, or deflecting entirely, because self-promotion makes you cringe.
The comparison trap
Doubting yourself as colleagues with fewer contributions move ahead.
The full plate
Leading a team and running a household, with no space left to plan your own career.
WHAT I HELP WITH
Get your contributions recognized
I know what it's like to do excellent work, cringe at self-promotion, and watch other people get recognized while you wonder what you're missing. Across 13 countries, I've had the privilege of coaching clients just like you to:

See the impact you've already made, and find the words to describe it.
✓Make your next career move from clarity, not exhaustion.
✓Set boundaries that hold, so there's room for joy at work again (yes, joy).

FORMER NEUROSCIENTIST
17 years in research. 16 published articles.
I spent 17 years working in labs at major research institutions before becoming a coach. For over a decade, my biomedical research sat at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology and nutrition. Then, I shifted to digital health innovation where I led a data science team in evaluating the quality and safety of AI tools in healthcare.
I’ve co-authored 16 articles in leading scientific journals, and presented my research at national and international conferences.Â
I hold a PhD in Biochemical & Molecular Nutrition, with a concentration in Neuroscience, and a BS in Physiology & Neurobiology and Psychology.
HOW I PIVOTED
When I realized the career I'd built no longer fit, I felt completely stuck.
From the outside, it looked like success. Inside, I was unfulfilled and totally exhausted after years in the lab. It terrified me to realize the path I'd invested most of my adult life in no longer fit.
I struggled to find the right support within the career development resources available to me within science. I invested in working with coaches and mentors from diverse perspectives. My experiences became experiments. I used what I knew about behavior change, how the brain works, and what stress does to the body to course-correct and rebuild my career.
It was hard, and it was worth it.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
It shouldn't be this hard to get credit for what you've built.
You deserve work that feels meaningful and gets the credit it’s due, no matter how full your plate is. My own experience fuels my mission to help you get there. Let's quiet the voice that says your work should speak for itself and you should just wait. Instead, we'll find the words that help it speak.
The talent, creativity, and sense of purpose I witness in my clients renew my hope for the future of science and medicine. I love this work.
You don't need to become louder. You need to see your work accurately.Â
